Impressive recognition for inventive genius

The artist - Paul Degen - and the entrepreneur - Michael Bischof - have been presented with the Basel Innovation Prize. They received their award for the invention and development of the Birth Wheel from Werner Spitteler, the Basel-Land Minister of Economics, at a ceremony held on November 19, 1992.
